Bespoke pieces commissioned by Jan Kath and Studio SORS. HISTORIC collection launch

We are so excited to finally reveal our Studio SORS. pieces that are on display during this years Salone del Mobile at the Jan Kath booth, hall 13, booth G-07. First we have the BESPOKE collection commissioned by Jan Kath specifically for the booth. These include a welcome desk, two screens, and a podium for the large loom, from where a talented weaver will showcase the intricate craft and heritage of Tibetan weaving history. You can also discover our latest HISTORIC collection. The collection consists of a revamp of the classic dining table by French artists Michel Charron circa 1970s and chairs designed as a French Brutalist interpretation of the iconic chair by Olavi Hänninen circa 1950s.

the HISTORIC collections, a select REVAMPED collection of iconic 20th century French design pieces, uniquely refinished by Studio SORS. Our hommage to a design era past, but not forgotten, from French brutalism of the 1950's to French minimalism of the 1970's.
